Türkiye Public Holidays and Shipping Calendar

Every Turcamart order ships from Türkiye with express carriers such as FedEx, UPS and DHL. On official public holidays in Türkiye these carriers stop collecting and moving parcels, so a holiday can add a day or more to the time it takes your order to leave. This page lists every public holiday in Türkiye for 2026, 2027 and 2028 and shows which ones affect shipping.
How holidays affect your order
- You can order at any time. The store stays open during holidays and keeps taking orders.
- Full-day holidays pause shipping. Carriers do not collect or move parcels on these days, so nothing leaves Türkiye until they reopen.
- Half-day holidays do not. On the eve of each Eid and on the afternoon of October 28, carriers still collect parcels and send them out the same day.
- Holidays are not business days. Orders placed before a holiday ship within our usual processing time, counted in business days. Holiday days are simply skipped. You can find our processing and delivery times in our shipping policy.
- Holidays in your own country can matter too. A public holiday where you live can affect the final delivery day.

Ramazan Bayramı and Kurban Bayramı
The two religious holidays follow the lunar Islamic calendar, so they move about 11 days earlier every year. Ramazan Bayramı (Eid al-Fitr) lasts three days and Kurban Bayramı (Eid al-Adha) lasts four, each with a half-day eve before it. The dates below come from the official calendar of Türkiye's Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet).

Extra days off that are not on this list
Some years the government adds extra days of administrative leave for public employees around a holiday, most often to turn an Eid into a longer break. These days are not official public holidays and are usually announced only a few weeks in advance, so they are not included in the tables above.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still place an order during a holiday in Türkiye?
Yes. The store stays open and takes orders every day of the year. Orders placed during a holiday go out once the carriers are back at work.
Do holidays count as business days?
No. Our processing time is counted in business days, and official public holidays in Türkiye are not business days. If a holiday falls inside your order's processing window, the window simply moves forward by those days.
Do half-day holidays delay my order?
No. On the eve of Ramazan Bayramı, the eve of Kurban Bayramı and the afternoon of October 28, the carriers still collect parcels and send them out of Türkiye the same day.
